Savour

Is Savor one of the words that Americans spell "Savor" and Canadians "Savour"?  Anyways, this word has been on my mind.
Usually I enjoy "savoury" foods more than "sweet" treats.  My roommate T noticed this when we'd have snacks at night and I'd always choose crackers, cheese and chips over chocolate. After a while, she only offered me savoury items.

Then I went to Savoury island, B.C. in the summer. You know, the hidden gem, Hawaii of B.C. (despite the fact that the brochure lied and said the water has a warm current, it was freezing yet still savoury).

Anyways, the point is that God has been calling me to SAVOUR. Not to be Debbie Downer, but so many people have passed away recently or have been getting sick. This can either make one downcast OR remind us to pray and to savour every moment with people.  Time goes so quickly and God has said there's no time for unforgiveness, there's no time for remaining in hurt. We can give Him those things at the cross. Savour time with people. Breath it in, the sunny day at your nephews baseball game. Lol... I don't even have a nephew but that's the kind of thing God is talking about.  Savour time with parents and grandparents. Thank them, appreciate them. Appreciate beauty with them.

Let's first savour God because He created everything after all. He is eternal and the best person of all to Savour :) Out of the overflow of savouring time with God, we can learn to savour time with others.
